Our Mission

To provide financial support and mentoring services, in order to strengthen youth in sports, and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle.

Our Vision

The Ryan Bowen Family Foundation envisions a community of youth who are involved in activities which will strengthen them in all aspects of life. The foundation will encourage young people to enjoy competing in athletics. We believe that teamwork teaches the value of individual sacrifice and effort for the good of others. It also develops pride and self-assurance while improving social and interpersonal skills. Athletic involvement will benefit youth at all levels of age, ability and aptitude with the purpose of establishing healthy and well-rounded lifestyles.

Funding priorities

Money raised by the foundation will go to sponsor athletic teams, (i.e. AAU teams, cheerleading squads.) It will also support individuals going to special sport camps. This furthers our purpose because it allows young athletes to participate in events that their respective schools may not have the funds to pay for, allowing the student athletes to succeed outside of school sponsored events.

The foundation will award scholarships to high school graduates. This will open opportunities for students to further their education at the collegiate level.

The foundation will donate money to local and area government sponsored and administered recreational and athletic facilities for the general public. This allows the community as a whole to benefit from funds raised, broadening the influence of the foundation.

Funds will be used to give opportunities to qualified youth to observe athletic and sports programs and events as a means of promoting healthy lifestyles and sports participation.

The foundation would provide assistance to underpriveleged youth allowing them to participate on an equal playing field with the more fortunate.
